SAFe Agile alternative in 2021? Many app developers’ bottom lines got hit with a double-whammy in 2020. First, the economic uncertainty due to COVID-19 caused many advertisers to reduce ad spending. And second, Apple announced at WWDC that iOS developers would have to gain permission from end users to share data with third parties, which is expected to reduce CPMs for iOS apps running ads. Although Google has yet to announce similar privacy measures, there is speculation that Android app developers could face a similar fate. Let’s review what changes app developers made to their business model in light of these two shifts. Typically, Android apps rely more on advertising than iOS apps, largely due to Google simplifying the process of incorporating ads into mobile apps. Given this reliance on advertising as a source of monetization, Android developers were much more impacted by the reduction in ad spend due to COVID-19.
Samsung Laser Printers Are Multi-Purpose to Fit Different Workplaces: Use Samsung monochrome laser printers to print on paper, cardstock and envelopes for diverse output. Color models step in for users seeking detailed graphs, charts, posters and photographs. A standard Samsung Xpress™ printer can deliver at a rate of up to 40 pages per minute (ppm) to keep the flow going in a busy office setting. All-in-one laser printers from Samsung offer the option of printing, scanning and faxing documents. The printers are compatible with the most widely used operating systems, such as Windows, Linux and macOS. Companies can save on energy by using the Eco Mode in Samsung laser printers, reducing power consumption while printing. These printers support multiple file formats such as PDF, Word and PowerPoint, and can function as barcode and label printers for more specific printing projects, such as labeling store products.
The GE66 and its more diminutive cousin, the GS66 Stealth, are both revamped for 2020, though they’re not clean-sheet designs. The GE66 replaces last year’s GE65 Raider, bringing many external and internal changes and improvements. The most visually obvious changes include an additional measure of design restraint in the display lid, which ditches the red-striped ridges in favor of a completely smooth surface. It’s a welcome improvement for people who cringe at the gamer aesthetic. MSI also toned down the shield logo on the display lid, removing its color so it blends in with the dark silver surface. The “Raider” moniker is gone from the laptop’s rear edge, giving way to some more sensible and useful I/O ports instead. They include the power port, an HDMI output, an Ethernet jack, a USB Type-C connector, and a mini DisplayPort 1.4 output. The DisplayPort jack is especially useful for connecting VR headsets. The front edge of the GE66 is anything but subtle, meanwhile. It’s occupied by a giant light bar that runs the entire width of the laptop’s chassis, offering 16.7 million colors that are customizable using the same SteelSeries Engine app that adjusts the per-key lighting on the GE66’s keyboard. Ostentatious, to be sure, but when it’s turned off, the light bar is well integrated enough that you’ll hardly notice it. Sometimes the biggest factor slowing down your PC isn’t Windows 10 itself, but bloatware or adware that takes up CPU and system resources. Adware and bloatware are particularly insidious because they may have been installed by your computer’s manufacturer. You’d be amazed at how much more quickly your Windows 10 PC can run if you get rid of it. First, run a system scan to find adware and malware. If you’ve already installed a security suite such as Norton Security or McAfee LiveSafe, you can use that. You can also use Windows 10’s built in anti-malware app — just type Windows Defender in the search box, press Enter, and then click Scan Now. Windows Defender will look for malware and remove any it finds. It’s a good idea to get a second opinion, though, so consider a free tool like Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. The free version scans for malware and removes what it finds; the paid version offers always-on protection to stop infections in the first place.
The Scrum values are at the heart of Scrum: Commitment, Focus, Openness, Respect and Courage. Without these values, Scrum will not come to life. The reason why many teams are not showing this behaviour is because they are situated in an often political environment where these values are missing. You cannot expect a Scrum team to act according these values if you do not set the right example yourself. As a leader you need to create a safe environment where these values can flourish and where you continuously set the right example. To give the right example, leaders should play an active part in an Agile transformation (monitoring, guiding and regular evaluations).
